Long-Term Care
The Maintenance Schedule
Consistent, low-effort habits protect your paint far more effectively than occasional intensive cleaning. Follow this schedule to keep your car in showroom condition year-round.
Every 2 Weeks
Wash the car using the two-bucket method with pH-neutral soap. Quick detail spray any glass, mirrors, and plastic trim. Check tires for proper inflation.
Every Month
Apply a ceramic booster spray or quick coat to maintain and reinforce existing protection. Clean door jambs, under the hood, and other neglected areas.
Every 3–6 Months
Full decontamination: iron remover followed by clay barring the entire car. Inspect paint under direct light for any swirls or scratches. Reapply wax or sealant if no ceramic is present.
Every 12 Months
Full machine polish to remove light swirl marks and oxidation. Deep clean engine bay. Have ceramic coatings professionally inspected and topped up if needed.
After Rain / Storms
Rinse the car thoroughly after heavy rain — rainwater carries pollutants. Blow dry door gaps to prevent rust in unprotected metal seams.
Glass Treatment
Apply a hydrophobic glass coating to windshield and windows every 3–4 months. Dramatically improves wet-weather visibility.
Trim Restoration
Faded black plastic trim makes a clean car look neglected. Use a dedicated plastic trim restorer or coating annually to restore deep black color and prevent UV graying.
Touch-Up Paint
Address stone chips within a few weeks before they rust. Use manufacturer touch-up paint, a micro applicator brush, and finish with a light sand and polish to blend.
